UMAYYAD PALACE DOME,  (ENTRANCE HALL) AMMAN CITADEL

The best preserved structure, that once served as the entrance hall to the Umayyad Palace Complex. The entrance to the hall faces the Umayyad Mosque, further south. The interior has beautifully carved stone walls and a lofty courtyard with four iwans giving it the cruciform plan.
